We are delighted to welcome to the Happy Pasture the unstoppable love machine that is Ruffster Dog.
I have a jolly canine friend
And Ruffster Dog's his name.
Enthusiasm without end
And love one cannot tame.
He lives with an intensity
That takes one's breath away.
This isn't just occasionally,
He's like this every day
When Ruffster dog says, "Ruff, ruff, ruff, ruff,"
It's hard not to join in.
When Ruffster dog says, "Ruff, ruff, ruff, ruff,"
You soon begin to grin.
One day I was a little down,
Not feeling quite at ease.
Noticing my worried frown,
He jumped upon my knees.
He let me stroke his shiny coat
And fiddle with his ears,
And soon I'd hit a brighter note
And wiped away my tears.
When Ruffster dog said, "Ruff, ruff, ruff, ruff,"
And gave his little paw,
As Ruffster dog said, "Ruff, ruff, ruff, ruff,"
The tension was no more.
So if you're feeling long of face,
No solace as yet found,
Go down to the Rescue Place
And find yourself a hound.
He'll rob you of your troubles
And he'll steal away your fear.
He'll burst all problem bubbles
And he'll lick you in the ear.
As Ruffster dog says, "Ruff, ruff, ruff, ruff,"
And chases his blue ball,
When Ruffster dog says, "Ruff, ruff, ruff, ruff,"
His love will touch you all.
