Background:
Tim has been having a lengthy stuggle with his ex, the mother of his young son, to whom Tim is a very committed and involved father . Despite his son saying he wishes to stay in England with Tim, his ex has begun court proceedings to get permission to take him out of the country permanently, so that Tim would only be able to see his son a few times a year. Shortly prior to writing this letter, Tim thought his troubles were finally over.

Dear Happy Cow

I am almost lost for words today. It turned into a complete b**tard!

I feel as if i have been kicked harder than i have ever been kicked in my life! After both my ex and I sat with my son and made a promise with him on Sunday that he can come and live with me, she has now gone back on her promise to her son and re-started court proceedings with no explanation. She wasn't even going to tell me. It was only when I asked if everything went OK at the solicitors yesterday, that I eventually got it out of her. This was shortly after I was also told that it had nothing to do with me!

I have never felt so empty. I know I have to get back up and fight, but at the moment it just isn't in me. Hopefully it will come back.
