Be gone
From my sights
From the grip that had a hold
Of this, constantly dying being.
I was helping it along its way
It seems... in the end!
Thought I’d never be free, yet
I no longer let myself be owned
The smell of habit gone
Leaving a sweet scent of ..
What is that aroma? It's...it's...
No stale stench, it doesn’t choke, what..
What kind air is this, that
Surrounds and embraces me so?
Ah.. its fresh like the morn it represents
Gentle breaths can now flow in fulfilment
I neither struggled in the fight, merely..
Walked into the light.. I suppose..
However, I catch a stray trail of that
Dancing, tempting and luring smog
On the occasional journey I take.
It floods memories, pictures and ..
Lost Moments that time has passed by,
Rushing my mind with an intoxicating blow
It’s a time warp of disillusioning smoke,
Feeling that if I were to have those
Precious moments, I have to once again -
Make this temple frail and clogged.
I refuse every time of course,
But will guilt rack these bones
Will I see those good times alone?
Without that suffocating aid..
The so called friend of dutch courage..
I will conquer for all my time now
I know the days may be hard and long
I wait for the fights of resistance
In the hope that sheer gut and will
Can see me through those days of
That wanting, needing and comforting
Feeling of Cigarette dependency
No longer a sucker to the quick fix fill..
Instead I have become A maiden of Life and
a patron of Will ....
Ok.. I wish I could say that's truth but instead I intoxicate my temple, still!
"And with the acceptance, whatsoever you are, whatsoever is the case, is then no problem, no question, nothing to be solved; you are simply that. And celebration comes. You start blooming." Osho
