At first I thought about the thought
and thought that it was me
I followed up with vanity
and cried: poor me! Poor me!
And then it was I realised
that thoughts are only there
I am the watcher of these thoughts
the watcher of that sphere
The thoughts keep popping in and out
I am not them, I see
They happen in a certain space
this space is you and me
This space is you, this space is me
and yet, for your elation:
there is no you, there is no me
there is no separation
We are all connected ones
with earth and sky above
and though it may seem otherwise
the only 'thing' is love
