Rainbow reflected in a puddle
Ripples come, it's all a muddle
Then, from no where, comes the cuddle
a warm wind on a winter day
I no longer saw you, for you were me
Two branches growing on one tree
Love whispered, "You were always free"
the toys laid out to play
In the dream of deep forgetting
Bound up by chains of hollow regretting
The secret was supreme letting
let these ghosts come and go
Touch gave way to total fusion
Out of the blue in deep confusion
Seeing through the shadows of illusion
cast on the ground below
I could not escape for I was the gaol
In wind and rain and sleet and hail
What was built will always fail
until only the sky remains
Laughter, love, screams and tears
Boredom and energetic fears
On its own these clouds were cleared
nothing to lose or gain.
