The dream is always the same
They slip through my fingers; water flowing from another source
They splash on the wall of of grief and slide down
Small droplets of sorrow, loss and pain.
They are my children
I cannot speak about the illusion of separation, that
they will move toward the ocean
Through a stream of longing
Into new wholeness
Or in the morning mist
Rise to meet the stars:
One love.
