[The following lyric lashing was kindly shared with us by Happy Cow's good friend Simon Drew. I saw me on a row of straw
it was not my face but you took it as it was
the waves fell down on the field of clay
in mud in rain
it never departs
you call me but I have no name
I listen yet on the blind plateau
where the crows wheel the carrion lay
yet nothing has died
and I'm yet to see a birth
digital, electrical, the voice has opened
call down and up all fiends and faeries
between the bridge of nowhere
and the sea of calm
yet we frolic in the fields of snow
those who sought answers found more questions
they led them into the caverns deep
and though alas there was nothing there
not a thing was lost in the tunnels of grief
cry your poison!
scream your wind!
it will never fit, do not be ashamed
the glasses ringing in halls above
celebrate you with every gulp
darker, deeper, you'll find no end
the sunshine is still waiting there
after the storm, comes the silence
answers! answers!
leaves will fall
