One early fall day, as my eyes drank in a spectacular Red Maple
I saw it's first fiery leaf dance to the ground.
Sadly, I thought, 'If only such a beautiful tree didn't have to lose its leaves.'
Gently, the tree brushed my shoulder and whispered in my soul,
'Look around.
Do you see even one tree reaching down to grasp after it's leaves?'
Stunned, I slowly turned, noticing, for the first time, 'No.'
The tree smiled and said, 'Trust the process.'
It was the moment,
I let go.
Love allows the release of anyone or anything in its time.
