Harsh tide rips apart my castle of sand.
I try to accept what I don't comprehend.
I thought it would last; I built it by hand.
In the blink of an eye, mistaken as friend.
Memories and dreams, now cold biting wind.
Can't wish it untrue, this meaningless end.
Where love uprooted the new path must begin.
Time moving so slowly when moving to mend.
"Why worry? There should be sunshine after rain. There should be laughter after pain. These things have always been the same. So, why worry now?" Mark Knopfler
